Case study: Xenco

  • Xenco originally founded in 1985 as Zenthor UK providing Transaction Processing Systems
  • Renamed Xenco in 1992 and commenced development of the successful free-standing software offering, CreditAble, a Credit Card Payment Application.
  • Team Wheel audited and advised on HR systems in 2017 prior to merger with Anderson Zaks
Team Wheel can adapt to the environment of their clients wherever they are in the business cycle and advise on and implement HR transformations applicable to any situation whether that be natural growth or through mergers and acquisition.

Team Wheel optimises systems at Xenco to facilitate merger with Anderson Zaks Limited ensuring continuity of systems and enabling alignment between two partners.

Background

Anderson Zaks and XenCo, both UK based independent Payment Services Providers (PSP), agree to combine resources to strengthen delivery of their card transaction services. Together the two PSPs provide a versatile range of payment services that are PCI DSS Level 1 certified, including authorisation and settlement, mobile and on-board  transactions, unattended payment terminals (UPT), recurring payments, gift and loyalty card support and dynamic currency conversion. Both organisations have legacy systems for HR management which were to be optimised and combined to avoid having two systems running in parallel.

The Work

Team Wheel did a full audit of Xenco’s HR systems and procedures and advised how they could be adapted to dovetail with those of the incoming partner Anderson Zaks.

Wherever possible Team Wheel cherry picked the best methods from each of the companies and developed a common structure for an HR transformation for the new merged company.

Team Wheel advised on how to migrate to the common platform ahead of the merger to enable it to proceed as seamlessly as possible for all involved.

The Results

The Teamwheel Touch

Our experience and expertise have ensured that when the merger was negotiated and finally completed both parties had a clear understanding of each others strengths and
capabilities.

We have ensured that the merger was able to proceed with Xenco’s HR in a state of readiness and transparency both at the time of the merger and forwards for both teams to be able to dovetail their systems with minimal disruption.

By being agile with our teams, our resource, and our expertise, we were able to deliver a HR environment which worked.

Team Wheel can adapt to the environment of their clients wherever they are in the business cycle and advise on and implement HR transformations applicable to any situation whether that be natural growth or through mergers and acquisition.
