“The best thing you can do is make the right thing, the second best thing is the wrong thing and the worst thing you can do, is do nothing” Abraham Lincon.
Working with Team Wheel, you can ensure you do the right thing, for you. We truely love what we do (otherwise we wouldn’t do it), finding out about your business, what makes it unique and what we can do to help you improve is what drives us.
That is what is outlined to the right. We work through all these steps with you, to make sure you do the right thing, pay the right amount and implement the changes you need to keep moving forward.
The cornerstone of any transformation is the “Case for Change” or “Business Case”. We work with you to ensure that the numbers stack up and when you go to the CFO for funding you are fully supported
Your business is unique, thats what differentiates you from the competition. However, you will also have a lot of similarities. At Team Wheel we understand this and apply our deep insight into HR and HR technology to ensure we are asking the right questions when it comes to selection a vendor. Whilst we have some tools and standard questions, it’s the non-standard, ‘you’ specifics that are the questions we need to be asking to ensure you get something that works for you
Once we know the requirements and approximate budget, we can then – from our industry knowledge – look at the whole of the market and compile a long-list. We will review this with you, running through the pros and cons, before shortlisting to 3 or 4 likely solutions or combinations of solutions
Now we have the shortlist, we will draft a full ‘Request for Proposal’ (RFP) and invite those shortlisted to respond. This forms the basis of the quotes you will receive. As part of this vendors will present to you, demo the systems and talk you through how they do business. Implementation time-lines will also be discussed at this point along with outline commercials
No one likes to over pay for something – but what is the right price. At Team Wheel we have conducted numerous selections processes and worked with many of the key players in the industry. We know what you should be paying and how to structure the contracts to give you the best deal possible
One thing thats not always obvious is that, for many of the larger systems, like Workday or Dayforce, aside from buying the system you will need someone to install and configure it for you – the system integrator. For many systems we can help you with this and where we can’t we can also ensure you select the right delivery partner.
Often overlooked is the amount of time and effort that you will need to put into the project. Firstly you will always need to have some input to the system to ensure it works the way you want, but for a lot of the other roles, do you have the skills in-house to deliver these? Do you have deep IT testing knowledge for example? We can help you both identify and fill the gaps
Getting all the paperwork sorted for a transformation project or a system purchase is an involved task. We review the Statements of Work and Order forms and advise you as to what you may need. We are not lawyers, but would you or your lawyer now is you need 10 one-time-payment plans, or 200?

When selecting a new system, concentrate on the possibilities it offers rather than clinging to the old
